A year following the Bench Project competition, members of the public were given the opportunity to vote for their favourite Bench designs. The top 10 entries were selected for a limited production exercise for each design to be located in 15 different locations in Singapore. This is part of URA’s long-term effort to make Singapore a great place to live, work and play by enhancing the quality of our public spaces. 

 

This design '1973' was selected as one of the finalists chosen for manufacture and installation for the Pick a Place, Pick a Bench initiative. A total of 6 benches were produced for installation in 5 separate locations:
